Thanks for the suggestion of Ghostface - which song in particular came to mind when you mentioned him? And our focus is on "rap" simply because it originated with a voice for people that were not ever heard on the radio nor considered a factor in real life. Just because something sounds straightforward does not mean it does not have a deep meaning. i read the description of that book and the jist of it basically is just him telling shit that inspired him to write certain songs it mentions nothing of a deeper or secret meaning to shit
