Back where I carved initials, into the wall of the bathroom stall I miss you
I was too afraid to go get you, so I told my friends to do it after dismissal
this is the moment I wanted to kiss you, cuz Winter break is too eventful
and learnin' you found a kid too, complete your school year would be hard to get through
I would be so broken down, I'm hopin' now that they finally found your locker
cuz darling I don't wanna seem like a stalker but I love errything your parents got ya
I would tell your father, your mother, respectfully to date their daughter
I would treat you well, better then I oughta, a book of poetry I would author
only to see you smile, it's been awhile and I'm finally gettin' a lil' nervous
I wanna pretend to be sick on purpose, my palms is sweatin', my side is hurtin'
but I gotta wait, I wanna define my purpose, hopefull you'll understand I'm workin'
not for that paper, but for a moment for you to be a lil' more observant
I heard you like ballers well I'm servin', a few dishes on the court durin' recess
see I used to be the weakest, I'd stumble, tumble and fall when I was on defense
but now I can hold my own, ever since then I been playing almost every weekend
but if that don't enthuse you, I know with time I can be a really cool dude
I don't wanna seem like I wanna use you, just wanna see what ur about, what you do
see where you come from, and whose who, hear all your problems and your views too
I know it may seem childish that I'm doin this....it's something I ain't used to.
I'm just tryna be a man, but it seems like I can't so I'ma leave before you get here...
