Too many cigarettes and not enough air to breathe
facts remain a rarity, and life it never seems fair to me
choosing to share the dream, when I'm always closed in
and the one who got the closest, promises were broken
I solidfy myself bein' enclosed in, a alternate reality
still my family don't see that I need a damn degree
no I don't want to be sheltered, I want to go it alone

if you could see the speculations that surround you, and hopes lost
how do you expect to go on? it's a problem I often spit my flows on
but never find the time to really correct myself for a second
they say in every mistake, you learn, and that, of course a lesson
stickin' to it is just forced aggression, stubborn, your just testin'

another moment when everything we ever said to each others forgetful?

plus the sins in my mind, shower to the point they need deeper cleaning
see some people put up with it until they hit their breaking point
