ok i'll explain this a lil more in depth for you even though its probably pointless

all beats are loops(usually 2 bars long), yes theirs some breaks or a melody switch-up every 4-8 in a small amount of beats, listen to any instrumental and it will sound boring, how many people you know (besides rappers) that would rather listen to instrumentals than the actual tracks NONE, theres a reason for that IN HIP HOP the beats only responsible for 1/2 to 3/4(southern rappers) of a tracks relistening value, the rapper is responsible for the other half hence the reason a horrible beat with a good rapper on it, doesn't sound half as boring as it would with an uncharismatic rapper, (think jay-z moment of clarity, the beat was awful but jay made it work with his heavily charismatic style) and vice versa a great beat can make a weak rapper sound 100x better (southern rappers)

the only producers that sell cds that aren't just beats that aren't targetting rappers & dj's as their audience, are producers that make trip hop/cinematic beats(something like you'd hear as the score in a movie to set the mood) blockhead, rza (his movie score cds), & rjd2

do you really think i couldn't make beats with tons of switchups and breaks? i could do it easily its not any more difficult than what i do... hell some of my beats are 4-8 bar loops instead of the typical 2 bar loop, i make my beats like i do for a reason, most mcs don't like beats with alot of switchups cause they're harder to flow to and if a beat has alot of switchups its harder to adjust the lengths so i use a standard format for 90% of my beats (8 bar intro, 16 bar verse, 8 bar hook, verse, hook, verse hook) 50% of people i produce for want their beat adjusted and customized (virals a good example i dunno how many times i've had to adjust beats i sent him its usually every beat i send him lol)

all my beats have all the necessary elements and sometimes more, (melody, bassline, drumline) if i added a melody or bassline over a beat that already has one chances are that it'll be awful & cluttered sounding

what don't you understand about the majority of beats are loops, unless they're not the standard format, how do you think j-armz can release cds with instrumentals for tracks that didn't have an instrumental version out? he can because he loops a 2-4 bar section from the intro or the outro

you've yet to find somebody that agrees with you, if you wanna be critical at least come up with valid arguement, people who can produce like my beats, people who can rap like my beats, you can't rap or produce so what makes you think i'd give a shit about your opinion?
