Nas – Untitled – Takes Number One Spot From Wayne

Lil Wayne will give up his number one spot that he reclaimed last week with “Tha Carter III”. Nas’, ninth solo album “Untitled”, sold approximately 187K in its first week.

The legendary hip hop emcee has created a lot of controversy with this album. Most of the controversy was because of the original title “Nigger”.

Nas’ previous album “Hip Hop Is Dead” sold around 354,000 copies in 2006. That project also caused an uproar but it was limited to the hip hop community.
