Vh1 will be using “The Roots” as their headline this year. It’s their yearly tour, promoting their “Hip-Hop Award Show”.
The roots will be touring 15 different cities from September to October.
The roots recently released their 9’th album this year called “The Game Theory”.
They have also recently announced their 10’th album. The name of the album according to allhiphop is going to be “Rising Down”.
As “The Roots” were promoting “The Game Theory” – Black Thought said that they planned for this album will be the first great 10’th album.
Black Thought also stated that the album should be out in November or December.
The group from Philadelphia have won numerous awards, most recently the “Max Stevenson International Hip-Hop Award” for the album “Game Theory”, and “NAACP Image Awards” for outstanding duo or group.
