Staring at a river...
at the same place I stood last year...
Watching you on the other side...
sitting there perfect...
on cement stairs, in the plaza square...
a beautiful brown jacket..
perfect glowing face...
reading "Atlas Shrugged"...
I come out the taxi cab...
behind myself..
wishing I was anyone else...
No amount of money...
smiles..
games..
climbing mountains...
changes that image...
seared into my memory...
forever...
Why did I keep talking...
when there was nothing left to say..
dropping tears of the impossible...
into that river...
Time makes everything so clear...

Re: How I Cry
The flow and the shortness of the bars give this a unique touch.

Re: How I Cry
