My name is Reminiscent and my real name is Robert. I go by Ayso, and Convalesce (old stage names I thought were good for me, then I found something that actually fits me).

I've always been a writer, I wont go into my huge story. But I've been writing for about a year - now. I write poetically and only battled once. I won, but it was nothing to be proud of. I'm not a battle rapper, I'm an outright Poet / Philosopher who needs / loves to write.

I got into Hip-Hop about a year and a half ago and it has inspired my writing to the point where I want to take the next step and get into the business. I'll keep this short so if you want to know anything else about me - PM me.

Here is a sample piece of mine - "Losing My Mind"

"Fading doesn't phase me,
It's how much it wants to ache me,
Taunt my wrongs,
No matter what I'll smile until the nightmares shake me,
The melody of a mad man rings within my eardrum,
This gas mask will carefully let me fly when the fear comes,
My reasons that I'm stating for this dirty little fire,
Will never make sense, that's why I have a gun for hire,
It's filtering my inspired brain, my dreams are flickering,
I don't care about my wired pain, as long as you're still whispering,
Wake me up with the screams of a lone flame,
Only to realize when you stake me up, it was my own name,
I'm still completely covered in shame, for one nights fame,
And I'm still bound to your presence no matter how loose the chain,
I feel I'll never find the key to this puzzle,
I'll just float in this sea, til I'm relieved by your troubles,
Sing to me a lullaby, teach me how to rise from rubble,
Reach me, believe me, please cling to me in this struggle"

the drop was decent. but theres a song by my homie Loose Logic called
"Losing my Mind" and its one of my fav songs so when i seen the title
i sorta got my hopes up. but welcome regardless 1

I enjoyed this part this most.. I think this is cool I give you props for writing only for so long.. good imagery here..

what I will say is if you r writing Poem's... Know Ending rhyme's can sometimes take away from your piece.. a poem doesn't always have to rhyme.

Either way , keep it up man... Leave some feed on "Craziest Ride" if possible.. thanks
