Mr Drunken Jesus: so how has the past year on the site been, its grown fairly active, whats your general opinion of the site members? any complaints or compliments?

metaphoric flow: Well. I have mixed emotions. I think some of them actually care to elevate and become better emcees. Though most just want some false sense of self glorification. Its kinda pathetic to see. I hate to seem rude but its true.



Mr Drunken Jesus: well, how has the site been business wise, has it lost money? has it earned money?, i know you have worked on a site thats been featured on fox news, which is the next best thing to the bible here in america

metaphoric flow: Illest Lyrics expanded my horizons; for example web design. So in the long run its a major pay off. The actual site has generated absolutely no real revenue.

metaphoric flow: Haha. I guess you could say that.



Mr Drunken Jesus: indeed, thats why i just said it, so lets get on to the nasty personal barrage that comes after the the foreplay. who do you think are the most valuable members on the site? the members that make the site seem like theirs a glitter of gold amongst the dogshit?

metaphoric flow: Tough question. I think the more experienced emcees bring the most benefits to the site. For example ekoms, drunken jesus,viral and precise. I also think Kurse brings a new level to the audio section.



Mr Drunken Jesus: i agree, now that we've covered the site. what do you expect to achieve personally as an emcee/writing? i've gotten word that your last recording with goatass is still having emo chicks investing in ginsu knives, are their more audios of yours to look forward to in the future?

metaphoric flow: Haha. Interesting question. One as you can imagine that I get asked about on a daily basis. My biggest problem with doing audio. Is pursuing the ideology of being good. I don't really have the motivation for such an undertaking. Don't get me wrong, I can do audio. I just haven't found my niche. I have sent a few people random audios with different approaches on each one. All of them shitty as the next. I have no question that I could become a listenable emcee. Its just a never ending contemplation if its worth it. So really I don't know. We will have to see. Oh. Quick comment on that goatass bullshit. That was literally retarded. Don't judge me on that. Lmao.



Mr Drunken Jesus: i see, keep our expectations low so we're never dissapointed, nice approach. lets delve into the personal life of heathcliff goldberg, IL's site owner. where do you see yourself being in a year relationship and business-wise?

metaphoric flow: I see myself becoming more lucrative. Plain and simple.

metaphoric flow: That means with riches n bitches.

Mr Drunken Jesus: lets get on to music, who are you listening to in the music game(hip hop + other genres) right now?

metaphoric flow: Well. Seeing that the hip-hop game in the present is horrible. I've been listening to a lot of old school shit. Kool G Rap, Rakim, Big Daddy Kayne, Big pun. Shit like that. I'm also listening to ghost faces new material. I'm hooked on that lupe fiasco album. I was bumping some old roots an deltrons album today. I'm pretty diverse when it comes to music.

metaphoric flow: As for rock. I've been listening to a lot of "the exies".

metaphoric flow: First off a really good online friend. I hope him the best in life. He has the intelligence to do what-ever he wants. As for an emcee. I think he still needs to define himself. If he doesn't attempt to pursue some sort of higher lyricism; for instance audio. He is wasted talent.

metaphoric flow: For him to become a successful emcee in some form. He will need to dedicate a lot more time to the art. On a personal level. I think he is cool as shit. I think we have more in common then he thinks. Plus he is a corner stone to "Illest Lyrics" in my opinion.

metaphoric flow: I don't know to many people that don't have the potential to become worth while. It all depends on dedication. I think everyone we mentioned in this interview has elevated chances with a few exceptions.



Mr Drunken Jesus: speaking on the subject many of the users have been on this board and the ezforums who do you think has elevated the most?

metaphoric flow: Give me a moment to be egotistical. I would have to say I have. I don't feel bad about that statement either because I've put a lot of effort into it.

metaphoric flow: A breeding ground for wack emcees and ill ones a like. I think Ill has a great conscience. I think it can basically be the epi-center of the hip-hop forum communities. I'll try to keep pushing creative ideas, tournaments, and other cool shit. I think the site will be 100 times better then it is now. I think we will have 1000 times more people. We will have to wait n see. Keep giving input, suggestions, and stay up.
