a multi is more than one word rhyming with several other words or one word.

Forced means that you just make up bars that rhyme with one another, not tying together at all. It looks and sounds like you just did it to make a multi.

I used to force multies like craaazy...but I got over the hype, they're not necessary...

Fillers go hand-in-hand with forced multies (no homo) too...alot of people who don't force multies still use multies as fillers...so they've got a completely irrelevant multie and then a punch...sounds wack...

multi's aren't "necessary" but writing a good verse with multis takes alot more skill and talent than writing a verse with a simplistic scheme, anybody that knows english could write a verse with one syllable rhymes

"filler" exists in most verses, every line can't have some super deep meaningful thought put into it, what you're referring to as "filler" is a half assed/forced set-up line

multis aren't "overhyped" rhyming multiple syllables is harder than rhyming single syllables plain & simple, people who force multis and write pointless babble with a bunch of multis are overhyped

multis shouldn't be hard to write for a decent lyricist, if you have to dumb down, force, or edit your lines and sacrifice content just cause you can't think of a good multi your vocabulary is probably really poor

But multies are overhyped...on alot of sites you see people writing verses like

All fillers and unnecssary multies...sure it takes skill to do shit like that...but it really isn't needed...doesn't add to the punches (btw in case no-one noticed, punches and personals win battles)...

And that bar I just keystyled just then...dressed, filled and forced like crazy...(with some nice wordplay at the end)
