[Intro]

Night..
The Solace of Sol..
*Laughs*
So vast and unexplored..

To me, it's unfortunate..
That people forget what they never see..
You gotta see through the darkness too though..
Right?..

--

Sitting on a cliff, admiring how the stars're made to glisten
Drifting in the distance, mind around a faraway dimension
People flourish in the day when all that light is sparklin' truly
But forget about the mysteries of the night and all its beauty

When their shine isn't as bright but they still continue to twinkle
Ocean tides glimmerin' drive you to dive up into the seafoam
That's glowin' cause of the moon that's casted over the tides
Bestowin' colorful hues in its path when mornin' arrives

Before the dawn when the stars're seen unweaving the cloth of dreams
A fabric enwove in thought that's still seen if you're not asleep
Wrapping around you so gently yet not a soul can resist it
So when you're under the sky your mind's in a foreign existence

Of the component which Beethoven had performed his Sonata
And which without the wave of motion in the ocean is nada
But it's composer never spoke a poem written in lyrics
So now it's spoken in the vocals of a whisperin' spirit

That goes like,

[Hook]

I've been empowered by your essence ..
I wish you'd stay forever, but you're constantly moving
Ironically my life isn't as bright without your presence ..
And though I know I'm not fast enough, in your fall I pursue it

Running behind ya while ya pull the darkness back from the lawn
They never see ya, 'cause they're only conscious after the dawn
Maybe one day they'll feel the sun and decide its colors're too bright
But until that time has come, I'll stay shinin' under the moonlight

--

Quiet silence arises while ocean fire flies're movin'
Water closin' in up by the shore that Poseidon tries seducin'
In praise of the shine above he'll raise his trident skyward to it
And, in a moment of peace, all of its tide retires movement

Admirin' the site illuminatin' up in the heavens
So all of the- rage in the waves can rest a couple of seconds
The current eases the pace and even the wind becomes silent
Each star is gleamin' from space and dreaming to glimmer the brightest

Framed in this dark abyss, capturing vision down a stone mountain
That raises crickets, and hooting, uplifting sound of wolves howlin'
Rushes of wind and nocturnal creatures'll dance over meadows
When leaves are falling in autumn, a stream'll channel the petals

So all their color's just drifted to different lands, so to settle
Cus when the rays have set is when truly the candles're speckled
But when the true morning has risen, or it's flickerin' near it
I hear the melody's hymn; a call of a whisperin' spirit

That goes like,

[Hook]

I've been empowered by your essence ..
I wish you'd stay forever, but you're constantly moving
Ironically my life isn't as bright without your presence ..
And though I know I'm not fast enough, in your fall I pursue it

Running behind ya while ya pull the darkness back from the lawn
They never see ya, 'cause they're only conscious after the dawn
Maybe one day they'll feel the sun and decide its colors're too bright
But until that time has come, I'll stay shinin' under the moonlight

Imagery is your middle name! I loved the pictures you painted with this piece and your song went right to the beat. Which was another thing I loved, Jules-Watts is dope. The only negatives I have about this piece was that at times I couldn't follow certain lines, it seemed like to many words were in one line and it kind of threw off your flow. I would say count your syllables just to make sure everything connects correctly. Other than that, good work. Keep Writing!
