Audio League Announcement!!

For all the Active audio heads here on Illest we will be starting up an ongoing audio league. I've seen things like these elsewhere so im confident this will be a good thing. we're still working on the details so this is a sign up, chat and suggestions thread to help us work out the minor details..



there will be no wins or losses on your illest
record.This League will go on a point system.
with the 3 points leaders going head to head
once a month. battles will be once every two
weeks unless voting takes longer to close.


points system

wins = 3
loss = 2
N/S win = 2
no shows = -1


we will have a league champ sig or belt
given to the points leader after the first
two rounds are finished.This means anyone can
be the champ/Points Leader as long as they
participate consistently...

weeks may vary but it pretty much goes this way..


Round Stips..

either 2 or 3 participants per battle.a beat will be uploaded into
your thread with either a predetermined Hook ar a basic concept.
artists are encouraged to do their best to follow or flip the
concept within the alloted verse space eg. 12 or 16 bars.
each drop is then placed in the thread and votes will proceed with
people mentioning who did best in their opinion.the person with
the most votes per thread will be given 3 points and all others
in that thread will be given 2 points.as the league escalates we
will begin putting a spin on things to try and keep it interesting.
maybe a Dance track week, or a reggae style week, or even a Rock n
Roll beat week.



why do it this way Tre Tru?.

If this league goes well after a month or two we should have enough
Tracks to Compile an Illest Lyrics Mixxtape/Street Album or
whatever you wanna call it wich will be uploaded onto DatPiff.com
and at the very least you should walk out of this with a few Songs
for YOUR Up and Coming street Project, this also gives you the opportunity to have some of illests
current Audio heavyweights on a
track with you..

I am interested in this, the only thing is that i dont have my own studio and i have to schedule studio time to do it, so my only concern is saying i would do it and then not being able to drop a verse.. but definitely i will try and get a verse in within the required time

well were gonna make a belt or Sig for this league...
so you got a chance to win that...and hold it in your sig
as long as you can..

if you do 2 rounds in this league without a no show i'll personally give you a shot at the audio belt @Pest.(Just dont wanna have a No Sho win for a Title Bout feel me?...but that will be a str8 up battle.no topicals for the belt i hold.)....so lmk if your in..we'll start setting these up by next week or so...
