The song has been playing over the radio waves (and on devices everywhere) for quite some time now, but fans have been waiting for The Weeknd to release the music video for his new hit I Feel It Coming off of his Starboy album. As of yesterday (March 9th, 2017), their wishes have been granted.
If you’re one of the folks that has been sitting on pins and needles waiting to see it, you can watch it below:
The Canadian musician has always been a different sort of cat that marches to the beat of his own drum and this video shows that his persona isn’t likely to change any time soon: The video begins with him glistening and jamming away by himself on some sort of planet where presumably the woman he took there for a romantic rendezvous has turned into a stone statue that’s capable of crying (based on that alone you have to admit that regardless of how you feel about him as an artist, he’s a lot of fun to watch).
For good measure, Daft Punk shows up at the end for a closing cameo just in case you almost forgot that they existed.
